Engaged in both academic and industry circles, Jason is involved with the HIMSS/SIIM Enterprise Imaging Advisory Council and the Canada Health Infoway Enterprise Imaging Community Group. He also co-hosts SIIMCast, the podcast of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
In 2018, as the SIIM/RAD-AID Global Ambassador, Jason led a radiology information system project in Ghana. By 2023, his collaboration with RAD-AID expanded to an educational initiative in Nepal.

His specialization spans workflow analysis, architecture, and design. Maan has been at the helm of large-scale, multi-site projects involving EMR, eHealth BI-AI, VNA, XDS, EPR, and DIR Data Centers, which have been pivotal for medical data and workflow sharing at regional and national tiers.
Professionally, Maan has partnered with industry behemoths like Agfa HealthCare, Fuji Medical Systems, and Siemens Healthcare. His academic grounding in Project Management and IT, combined with his expertise in Healthcare Informatics, has enabled him to successfully oversee and roll out multi-million-dollar eHealth programs.
Demonstrating leadership in planning, training, and Healthcare Informatics education, Maan has led installations and upgrades at elite healthcare facilities across the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia, including institutions like Cleveland Clinic, Brigham and Women's Hospital, UCSF, UCSD, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and beyond.
