Jason Nagels boasts over 20 years in Imaging Informatics Consultation & Education. His pivotal role at regional provincial repositories has been instrumental in advancing digital healthcare and imaging technologies.

Engaged in both academic and industry circles, Jason is involved with the HIMSS/SIIM Enterprise Imaging Advisory Council and the Canada Health Infoway Enterprise Imaging Community Group. He also co-hosts SIIMCast, the podcast of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
In 2018, as the SIIM/RAD-AID Global Ambassador, Jason led a radiology information system project in Ghana. By 2023, his collaboration with RAD-AID expanded to an educational initiative in Nepal.
